Capture
A guided phone walkthrough captures the space in 30 to 60 seconds. The PWA installs from any mobile browser and works offline.

Reconstruct
COLMAP → GLOMAP → Brush → splat-transform. A real Gaussian-splat .spz lands on CDN, with a metric scale solved from a credit-card reference.

Reason
The scene is exposed to LLMs over MCP. Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini query geometry, run measurements, and run spatial reasoning prompts.

Three waves landed in one window

Three independent shifts hit inside the same 18 months. None of them was true a couple of years ago.

MCP is here
Anthropic shipped the Model Context Protocol. Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini all consume it. A standard way to hand an LLM spatial tools didn't exist before 2024.
Gaussian splats matured
Brush, Spark, three-gs. Real-time splat rendering on a phone is now a solved problem. The 3D representation just works.
Smart glasses launching
Meta Ray-Ban Display ships installable web apps. Android XR opens the same path. That closes the capture-and-view loop.

The constraint

The bottleneck is GPU compute

Every other layer of RakuAI is solved or cheap. Reconstruction GPUs are the one line-item that gates real output.
